My GAME plan for the professional development standard begins next week on Monday. My classes for 21st Century Academy begins along with receiving all my new gadgets. I am excited to get started, yet not willing to give in to the end of summer.
I feel very good about my progress. Thanks to my classmates for sharing tips for VFT.
Sounds like you have a great GAME Plan but a little bit of work to do before the start of school. I am faced with the same task. I am getting a new video editing program and my lab will not be set up until the middle of August and school starts the end of August. Going to be a quick learn-I hope. It is nice that our students today are so tech savvy and can help us work through any issues that we may have. Good luck with your plan and all your new gadgets.

Kim,
ReplyDeleteI will keep looking for a good VFT in the American symbols for your 1st graders.
Have fun learning in your PD classes and happy gadget time! I'll be picking up the Mac laptop tomorrow morning, so it's playtime for me, also.
Kim,
ReplyDeleteHow I wish we were having classes on the 21st century classrooms. Some of the classrooms in the high school have not changed much since when I graduated from there 30 years ago! Budgets are a huge issue, and the townsfolk are not willing to put any additional money into education. Sad.
Judy,
ReplyDeleteOur building has worked hard and made it a priority to write grants for technology. The rest of the buildings get upset because we have so much, but they could do it too! It's sad that districts can't use money to better the schools because the community won't spend a little to help the future. They have no clue that what they had worked for them because of the times but not for our students...the world has changed considerably! In order for them to be marketable they need to have these tech type skills. So sad that the young do not vote (usually).
